Inspired from Turkish motifs, the one-piece wedding gown trail interprets its traditional heritage in modern times owing its grace to the rhythmic linear patterns of scrolling and intertwining foliage and tendrils combining into floral elements. The heritage dates back to the 13th century where fabrics embellished in these motifs were seen as the status symbols of high value and were often gifted and adorned by the royal family. Oorvi's inspiration - ‘Rumi’ motif, is the most exquisite motif in Turkish art, which adds a sense of integral ethnicity. The motif itself is composed using the vegetal patterns and delicate flowers that signify blossom, chastity, and purity beautifully blending with the unconventional 'red velvet ' symbolizing the ‘Mangalkaalam’ meaning the auspicious occasion in Sanskrit!
